A wonderful birthday spent in a kimono rental at Kiyomizudera!

My birthday turned into a wonderful day with a kimono rental at Kiyomizudera ♡
The other day, I tried kimono rental for the first time at Rikawafuku Kiyomizudera store in Kyoto!
They styled my hair beautifully and dressed me in a kimono—so cute ☁
Since it was also my birthday, I went with my mother as a thank-you gift to her. haha
We didn’t really have a fixed plan, but everywhere we walked was so photogenic, so we had no trouble finding great photo spots. I was so happy 🥹
Let me introduce the spots we visited 🌸
・A shop where you can enjoy delicious deep-fried rice cakes
Bite-sized fried mochi for 100 yen each.
・The colorful and cute “Kukurizaru” at Yasaka Koshindo
We also wrote down our wishes on a Kukurizaru charm ◎
Yasaka Koshindo is known as a must-visit spot when renting kimonos in Kyoto, so it was one of the places I really wanted to see!
・Yudofu lunch! We went to Okutan for lunch
The atmosphere was so stylish and very Japanese. We ordered the full course menu, and it was such a delicious, slightly luxurious lunch 🤤
・Walking along Ninenzaka… we found a cat-themed shop 🐾
For cat lovers, this place is irresistible—definitely check it out!
I got cat-patterned chopsticks and a matching case here ◎ Also found a really cute mirror inside!
We spent about 5 hours strolling around Kiyomizudera in kimono, and it was such a fulfilling and wonderful experience ◎
If you visit Kyoto for a special occasion or celebration, even just a short kimono rental is highly recommended 😳
I’ll definitely use kimono rentals again in the future! Thank you 💐
