Things to Consider When Renting Kimono for a School Trip in Kyoto
Pay Attention to Time and Schedule Management
The most important aspect is to ensure that you can secure enough time for sightseeing. Popular tourist spots in Kyoto, like Kiyomizu Temple and Arashiyama, can get quite crowded, especially during certain seasons. The kimono rental process typically takes 45 to 60 minutes, including dressing and selecting rental kimono. It's essential to plan your schedule considering this time.
Additionally, after departure, the following reasons can unexpectedly delay your schedule:
- Walking slower than usual due to unfamiliar zori sandals.
- Requests from foreign tourists for photos, which can take some time.
