We rented kimonos at Kiyomizu temple and enjoyed exploring retro cafes!

I rented a kimono at the Kiyomizu store and went café hopping in Kyoto ❤

For my kimono choice this time, since I love pink, I included pink but chose a pattern that wasn’t too cute. I also used some accessories I brought with me to give it a more unique look!

Instead of just using a regular obi, I added lace, and they styled my hair so cutely that it lifted my mood 😍 (the lace material used in the hairstyle was my own).

A Kyoto Café Famous for Mont Blanc

All dressed up, I headed to the first café!

Since Mont Blanc is my favorite dessert, I went to “HISAYA CAFE”!
It’s located along Matsubara Street, the slope leading to Kiyomizu-dera, and only about a 10-minute walk from the Rikawafuku Kiyomizu Store.

And guess what! Here they make the Mont Blanc right in front of you!!

It was so refreshing and exciting to watch the Mont Blanc being prepared right before my eyes ✨
The flavor was rich and absolutely delicious ❤

When taking pictures, I recommend including a glimpse of your kimono—it makes for such a nice memory!

Ralph Lauren Café with Kimono Rental

The second café was a bit farther from the Kiyomizu store, but we went to the very stylish Ralph Lauren Café ☕️.
It’s located near Hankyu Kawaramachi Station.

Kyoto is easy to get around by bus, so even if it’s a little far, it’s still convenient to visit.

Here, the cakes and latte art were so cute that I chose the latte art!
The cake was super sweet, so it paired perfectly with the slightly bitter café latte 💕

And honestly, everything—the interior, the details, and the food—was stylish!! lol

When visiting Kyoto, you really feel like wearing a kimono or yukata, so I’d love to try a different pattern next time ❤

For those living in the Kansai area, sightseeing at temples and shrines is great, but renting a kimono and going café hopping is also so much fun—highly recommended!!
