I rented a kimono at Kiyomizu temple and enjoyed café hopping!

Enjoyed Kimono Rental at Kiyomizu temple and a Café Hopping Day!
Rikawafuku Kiyomizu temple Store and we went on a cafe-hopping trip around Kiyomizu temple!!
Kimono Coordination Points and Features
I wanted to dress in a similar style with my friend, so we chose together! Coordinated chic and cute with red and white!
It was so much fun deciding which obi accessories to use!
My hairstyle was also set super cute!! I added my own headband!!
This is how it looked from the back!!
We matched with flowers and made the back look photogenic too ♥
Food Stroll with Kimono Rental at Kiyomizu-dera
We had lunch at a restaurant near Rikawafuku Kiyomizu temple Store!!
The seasonal set meal with scallop rice was recommended, so we tried it. Full of scallops and delicious!!
After lunch, it was time for cafe hopping!
I found a cafe on Instagram that looked very Kyoto-like and cute, so we went there!
TEN Japanese Cafe & Gift Shop
I ordered the Matcha Rare Cheesecake Set.
The cheesecake wasn’t too sweet and was really tasty ♥
They also sold Japanese goods and handmade pottery, giving it a modern Japanese vibe!
I thought it matched well with retro kimonos!
Next cafe was…
Walden Woods Kyoto
I ordered a Matcha Tea Latte ★
The shop had a white-based interior and was super cute!! It was so cozy I stayed longer than planned!!
Taking photos on the stairs with masks was also super cute! Definitely a recommended cafe!
Next up…
Gion Higashi Jumondo – Dango Set
Tiny dumplings only 12mm in diameter! ♥♥
We ordered a set with five flavors: red bean paste, mitarashi, black sesame soy sauce, Kyoto-style white miso, and isobe-yaki!
Since we were in Kyoto, we also ordered matcha to drink!!
The dumplings were grilled, giving them a fragrant flavor, so delicious!!
My favorite was the black sesame soy sauce with added black shichimi spice!
After enjoying the dango, we strolled around Kiyomizu temple!! We also visited Yasaka Koshindo, famous on Instagram!!
It’s known for its colorful, round pouches hanging everywhere!
These pouches represent monkeys with bound hands and feet, called “Kukurizaru,” which are charms.
They symbolize restraint of desires, and it’s said that if you suppress one desire, one wish will be granted!!
I also bought a Kukurizaru and wrote my wish on it! I hope it comes true ♩♩
Wearing kimono really let me enjoy the full atmosphere of Kyoto!!
Cafe hopping with my friend was so relaxing and it became such a special memory!!!
