If you rent a kimono at Kyoto Station, you can enjoy sightseeing from the fashionable cafes around Kyoto Station to Keage!

I saw posts on Instagram enjoying sightseeing in Kyoto while wearing kimono, and I thought it was so cute that I decided to try kimono rental myself.
This time, I went with my friends who are also students and used Rikawafuku Kyoto Station Store!
How was Rikawafuku Kyoto Station Store?
It’s close to Kyoto Station and also near sightseeing spots, so it was very convenient for moving around!
Additionally, you can choose your favorite kimono from about 300 available, and they even do hair styling, which is super convenient.
I was also really happy that hair accessories were included in the plan!
There were so many cute kimonos that it was hard to choose, but thanks to the staff who gave us advice, we were able to pick kimonos that suited us perfectly ♡
The dressing and hair styling went very smoothly.
This time, we chose between a retro-style kimono and a pink girly retro-style kimono!

The hair styling was finished with a tied-up low bun, which suited the retro kimono perfectly!

After renting a kimono at Kyoto Station
After renting kimonos at Rikawafuku Kyoto Station Store, we moved on to Nanzen-ji Temple and the Keage Incline area.
At the Keage Incline, it was fun to walk on the unused railway tracks!
At the Suirokaku of Nanzen-ji, we were able to take many kimono photos that we had always wanted to take.
The colorful kimonos looked great against the streets of Kyoto, and we were able to take very cute photos.
Renting a kimono at Kyoto Station makes visiting cafes easier
After Nanzen-ji and the Keage Incline, we took a short break at stylish cafes around Kyoto Station.
We visited two cafes: Walden Woods Kyoto and CAFE Dot.S.
The simple backgrounds made the Rikawafuku kimonos stand out, and we were able to take lots of cute photos!
We chose a kimono with a slight pattern, so cafés with light-colored backgrounds made the photos really pop ♡
To take cute kimono photos, we looked up photo spots and tips on Instagram beforehand!!
Kimono rental made sightseeing in Kyoto and visiting cafes even more fun!
It’s also highly recommended for student friends or couples, as you can take cute photos and create lasting memories.

Kyoto Station has the advantage of being easy to access from any area in the city, but there are fewer temples and shrines nearby.
However, there are cafés that go perfectly with kimono, so you could stop by before returning the kimono, adding a little extra fun!
Everyone, please take advantage of the convenient access and enjoy sightseeing in Kyoto!
