The “Edorium” inside Sumida Aquarium has beautiful goldfish and is a spot that will look great on social media while wearing a yukata. You’re sure to take some wonderful photos.

Asakusa Engei Hall

Asakusa Engei Hall is a traditional theater in Asakusa where you can enjoy rakugo (comic storytelling). It is a long-established theater that has been around since the 17th year of the Meiji era.

Basically, you can buy tickets on the day of the performance, so purchase your ticket at the reception on the day, and find an available seat to enjoy the rakugo performance.

During the breaks at the theater, they also have stand-up comedy, skits, and magic shows.

There are two showtimes, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, but there’s no need for seat changes in between, so you can come and go whenever you like, making it very convenient.

What’s even better is that the price is only 2,800 yen for the entire day, which is quite affordable. Plus, it’s just a short walk from the station, so it’s easy to get to even on rainy days, and I highly recommend it.
